Where do you meet people?

I know this has been asked many times before. But I normally meet men at the gym, since other than work and home that's where I'm at. Obviously that's not going so well. So where is a good place to meet men? I'm not actively looking I suppose just wondering. I have met a few at the grocery store and at the car dealership getting my car serviced. Guess I need to just do things that interest me and maybe will meet someone. Too bad right now my only hobby is working out : )

well first off its great to know girls like you are out there open to being approached and meeting new people (even though i already knew that) but its still nice to hear.

 

well i dont know im a guy so ive got my places i like to go and "try" to meet women because i am actively looking..

 

have you tried your local bookstore or starbucks..??

 

But see this is where i kinda feel sorry for women.. I know exactly where to go to meet women its just gettin the courage to do so... for you guys you have to actually wait for someone with the courage to approach,,

Hey .. have u tried taking dance lessons? Like Latin Dance or West Coast Swing type dances? (Not sure which part of the world you live in).. or have u tried meetup? There is everything u can imagine on meetup ...

Thanks for the replies. I havent tried bookstores but that could work, I love to read. Dancing really isn't my thing so I probably wont do that. I guess I need to just put myself out there a bit more. I don't feel online dating is for me. I generally don't mind being approached anywhere, it's a good ego boost if nothing else : )

Met my current boyfriend online. Met my last boyfriend through friends/social activites. Met the boyfriend before that at a bar during a local event. Met the boyfriend before that at work. I get asked out a lot in the grocery store, but that's never become anything.

isnt it crazy how the grocery store has become a singles hotspot LOL.... that just blows me away.. I never used to think of it like that before, now I have to put my game face on everytime i have to go get a gallon of OJ its like everytime you turn the corner down a different aisle dont be surprised if you see the most attractive person youve seen all day..

 

Ive got a whole foods being built by my house as we speak cant wait to see what thats gonna be like lol.

I've never had any dates from meeting men at the grocery store. But there is a manager at the store by my home. We usually just say hi and how are you, he stopped me and we chatted a bit last wk. I would date him, we'll see : )

Try going about 8:00 ish its hilarious I can always tell who the single girls are.. Theyre the ones always walking around with the baskets you carry in your hand not the cart u know? and they always have the same things in it like carrots, broccoli, lettuce, trying to show they eat healthy lol... Its always the same like little cute rabbits..

oh i know you are lol.. its just funny how I never see the ice cream or the toiletries or the cookies lol.. You guys must go buy those in the daytime at Target or something.
