rockstarmusician Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 How do I decrease the symptoms of PMS? I've got it bad this week!
moimeme Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 Here are a few articles on strategies to reduce PMS. You may have to try a few until you figure out what works for you. http://www.webhealthcentre.com/general/wh_pms.asp http://www.obgyn.upenn.edu/mudd/PMSarticle.html Some good suggestions on what not to use: http://healthlink.mcw.edu/article/965929927.html Having said that, I read about B6. I do take it in small amounts for PMS and it does seem to reduce the moodiness and irritability.
Thinkalot Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 I've long suffered bad cramps and PMS. I have found acupuncture to be very helpful, in addition to the other stuff.
hazel Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 go to a doctor and ask them. I mean I went to the doctor today and they gave me birth control to control my menstrual cycle and my severe cramps. So go to the doctor because they can help you the best.
Thinkalot Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 A doctor can help. But I also cannot take the pill! So that solution is a no go for me.
