SimonSerenade Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 So lately one or two girls have been showing some interest in me and damn they really are nice girls, Pretty much want everything I want, There's one in particular who I really really like as she's always been for me, It's been close to 5 months now since my ex left me and I must admit I was having the hardest of times but since going no contact though I've still felt hurt I've not been tempted to contact her at all, I realised if she don't me then why should I stick around and be miserable when I deserve so much better anyway. The only problem is I feel if I get with somebody else I'd always be looking over my shoulder thinking she was going to come back and with who she is and what we were together, I feel it's going to happen one day, I don't want to get with someone just to hurt them, Am I just better off alone? =/

As a man, that is one of the sure ways you're going to get over your ex and believe me, you need it after five, long, painful months. You may still hurt a little, so you want to date. Take it easy, and don't get into a full blown, heavy relationship. Remember, you've met two women, not twenty. Why limit yourself? Remember that YOU are a hot commodity and they'll be lucky to have you. It's very important to remember that! I mean, look what our ex's did to us? now it's to the point like screw her... she did you wrong... and the moment you get those feelings of missing her and all that, think of what really went down...how she left you..and did not call...you deserve better...
