Babies are precious little human beings... you were one once. Calling a baby a "9-month door prize" seems to devalue babies, in my opinion.

About anal sex, it hurts me, but with lots of lubrication and with a loving and understanding partner, it's ok once in awhile. I LOVE vaginal and oral sex though. :)

Nah. I was a "9-month door prize" to a 14 year old mother who so graciously decided to give me up for adoption. Babies are precious, you're correct. There's also a certain level of trust and responsibility a couple should be prepared to face if having vaginal sex, protected or unprotected.

I don't devalue babies. I just recognize that anal sex takes out the anxiety of having an unexpected pregnancy.

If anal sex hurts, don't do it :-D If you want to try it with a partner, I'd recommend practicing a little bit on yourself a day or two before to refamiliarize yourself with the sensation.

LOL well what about when you have anal sex frequently? That hole can stretch too, and that can come with other consequences that don't include "less-tight penetration" if you know what I mean.

Not the case at all. In situations of extreme and consistent abuse such as fisting, the anus is controlled by muscles that expand and contract. Unless you have an underlying connective tissue concern such as Marfan Syndrome, the muscles always return to an otherwise normal size and tension.

After all, a good portion of your life is spent using the orifice to release waste that causes the muscles to expand just as much.

"The anal sphincter muscle is designed to expand and contract an unlimited number of times. Stretching it will not make it any less able to constrict, just as stretching your hamstrings does not make them weaker. There have even been a number of long-term studies that found that there was absolutely no loss of muscle tone or the ability to contract regardless of the amount of anal sex a person has had." - Dr. Sandor Gardos from Columbia University.

Hello Creighton,

I don't think you were a door prize. I was conceived accidentally too, but still, whether on purpose or not, babies are precious and I'm glad you don't devalue babies.

Well I don't say no way to anal sex... my ex loved it so... yeah it did really hurt.. I don't know how to practice that on myself lol but am curious now. :)

GF and I do it about once every couple of months. She has to be super relaxed and slippery as an eel, for it to be any fun, and I have to be inhumanly gentle or it hurts her. She does like anal play, though.

Even just looking at a butthole can get me dizzy from disgust.

Some women see an an anus and say why. Some men see an anus and say why not.

LOL

I think this just about answers any question I've ever had about men.

Really??? Well I suppose that makes sense since we need to go to the washroom from there our whole lives. It's too bad the vag doesn't work the same lol

So what are these rumours I hear about too much anal sex leading to anal leakage? That there is residue from your poo that leaks out? I suppose this is false then? Ladies?

Every man always wants to go through the bum!!

Just another guy's opinion; I never enjoyed doing it.

When I was younger and the gal really wanted it, I'd comply. Now that I'm older, no way. They can take a hike with that request. Then again, I never really cared for oral either. Giving it to her didn't bother me at all but didn't excite me either.

My penis is staying out of mouths and buttholes.... and I'm okay with that. :D

Well, it's pretty easy. There are, in fact, "starter" kits in certain specialty shops that include inserts with a flared base of various sizes.

It's pretty good to wait until half an hour to an hour after you go to the bathroom, use plenty of lube, and go slowly. Once you get used to it yourself, you can take control and act as a dominant bottom in the act.

Some people here word it as though the insertive partner is completely giving over. That is the case with a dominant inserting partner, but it can be the other way around. The bottom can always be in complete control so as to minimize pain.

I've personally never dealt with that. Then again, I haven't exactly had too much anal sex. Provided you're clean, use a condom, lube and you trust your partner and communicate well then it can be all good. ;)

1. The anus doesn't have the chance to pass through it a 5-10 lbs bundle of joy a few times in its life..

2. If there is a problem with "leakage", chances are that the stomach and intestines aren't absorbing enough water and your stool is too soft. This is a digestive problem or a problem with the colon.

3. The human rectum (area between the sphincter and colon) does not really store any stool until right before and right after going the bathroom. If you have a healthy diet with a proper balance of roughage and fiber, there will be none (or a very small amount) of trace fecal matter.

4. Issues of chronic "leakage", when it does occur, almost always has been attributed to long term stretching of the inner and outer muscles of the rectum brought on by persistent use of very large toys and fisting.

Some people have brought up the idea of using enemas to clean up. I would strongly, strongly recommend against this on a regular basis. The chemicals in an enema aren't designed for repeated and consistent use without the authorization of a doctor.

If you have no sensation to go the bathroom immediately before and use soap and water to clean the outside area, chances are you will only have a very small amount of residue which poses little to no risk. If cleanliness is an issue, there are shower attachments where you can use warm water to clean out the inside area, but doing so strips natural oils, requiring the use of more lubricant.

If done properly and with care, anal sex can be great. The same is true of vaginal sex and oral sex.

Hmmm....the rectal muscles, including the anal sphincter is one of the weaker muscle groups and actually not design for regular penetration. Regular anal sex is a risk factor in anal prolapse. Think about how we are encouraged to take fiber so that we do not have to "strain" our muscles there...so unless a penis can go in soft form (like soft feces when doing a BM)..I would recommend anal sex not be done regularly or with lots of lube. Rectal prolapse is not a pretty sight and is very painful.

I am female and I enjoy anal sex because it feels amazing.

I love the thrill from putting so much trust in my partner to not hurt me (he is very "big") and there are a TON of nerve endings in the anus so yes, if he pays attention to my body language and does what I want/am comfortable with, it feels awesome.

Also, I like having him cum inside me without the risk of pregnancy. It makes me feel closer to him.

I enjoy it too, but too big is too much. I felt like I wasn't going to be able to sit down for a week!

I like it. I miss it. :(

Yep, rectal prolapse is one of the risks, and it's not a pretty one. Plus, I'm not convinced that fecal incontinence isn't a risk/problem. You can cause nerve and muscle damage from simply straining too much, too hard on the toilet, and that damage can lead to fecal incontinence. I don't see why it would be any different with muscle or nerve damage caused by insertion of foreign objects.

I had always had this impression they dont like it.

I have never had a desire to do it. My general view is whatever floats your boat.

Do a search on goatse and let me know how repulsed you are now.

I've been asked to do it by several women, never brought it up myself. A friend said "if the front door's being painted, come on in the back".

Well the way I see it, even though some may enjoy it, technically it wasn't made for that purpose, it was made for another, which is why it seems unnatural to have anal sex (unnatural in the sense that it wasn't made for insertion, it doesn't lubricate itself and it isn't designed for a penis).

In certain sex positions when the penis angles and hits towards the back (opposite of where g-spot is) I still feel like pooping and its a kill-joy. Even when a man gets near it with his fingers it gives me the sensation of pooping and it really kills the mood for me. I get turned off instantly and just want to stop having sex right then and there. I just don't understand why men can't stay away from it! They seem to love it no matter how many times I tell them that it's a complete turn off and ruins the sex for me. They can't keep their hands off! Yuck!

I always seem to get the ones who have never tried it before, and all of a sudden are dying for it.

Also, if a man has anal sex very frequently, does vaginal sex then become boring? Some posters mentioned that anal sex provides tighter penetration, which is more enjoyable. If a man is so used to this tight penetration, does vaginal sex then become unpleasurable and "useless"?

hmmm, i really wonder if (straight) men would be so into it if they had something large going into their rectums? ;p

anal sex seems like it would have to be the ultimate trust though. not personally my preference, and i have yet to try it. the only way i would consider it is if i would have the same option with my partner (to make it an even playing field) :) since you know, everything should be equal in the bedroom ;)

oh yeah, forgot to add that i respect everyones sexual preferences, but i cant say that i desire a penis in my bunghole. too many risks then pluses for me there.

Good point. Let's face it, it's not that important to ME, I just do it when asked or, if I know she's into it, when the mood strikes. It's not a deal breaker but being willing to try it or not says a lot about a person being comfortable with trying things.

Rectal prolapse is not a pretty sight and is very painful.

And it is also extremely, extremely rare. Only .42% of the total American population suffer from some level of rectal prolapse. In people over 65, the rate is 1%.

The percentage of people who have regular anal sex is much higher. You raised a medical condition that is virtually a non-issue.

lol...THAT is just ONE of the many health risks that one would expose oneself when engaging in anal intercourse. I would explain to you the risks-anal fissures, incontinence, HIV, tearing, and a host of others but I would probably have to bill your health insurance for the time :p besides you can just google it....start with wikipedia under "anal intercourse"-it's easy enough to understand.

Here's something to ponder about: Why are men who engage in anal intercourse with other men not allowed to donate blood or plasma?

Here's a hint: It is not because those collecting agencies are homophobic.

Is it because there is something about limp wrists that makes it difficult to find a vein?

Because their blood contains traces of fecal matter? In other words, pumping someone's rectum allows for small amounts of poo poo to enter the blood stream via the male urethra?
