So that geico commercial really came into play for me.

I been seeing someone the past couple of years, and that's my longest ;P

But, I never felt she was it. She came to me. I obliged but felt I'd just go with it while passively looking elsewhere. I never say things to suggest I'm serious w/ her, even joking about why she isn't dating other guys. She does, but clearly doesn't like them.

Then I found someone who was my "it" girl. But, suddenly I got the most incredible agonizing anxiety. I felt, the minute I went for my "it" girl.. I'd lose the bird in the hand.

The prob for me is, the bird came to my hand. But I got to pursue the 2 in the bush.

I feel like, I sort of like being the pursued more then the pursuer.

What do you think, what makes for happier couples? When the women go for the guy, but the guy is sorta meh about her? Or when the guy goes for someone he's completely mentally/physically attracted to, yet has that risk.

Obviously my confidence towards getting what I want isn't there. So, I'm settling with the 'best' that comes to me.

But I suspect, that might turn out the better choice for marriage..... what ya think?
