ozziegal8 Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 is this a fob off? i have been seing a guy for 6 weeks met online. he has taken his profile down and says we are dating. he has an infant child, single dad who he has most of the access too. things have been going ok. regular contact. i have met his son a few times. yesterday his son rang me from his dads phone with dad and asked to go over there. i couldnt had plans but we planned to do tonight with his son. he has the flu so today i get a text saying he has to cancel tonight as his mum coming down to stay from the country they have family xmas party tmw. i spoke with him and he apologised he also sounds very unwell. how do i take this? is it a 'im not interested' anymore?

I am a single father of 2 & honestly I won't introduce anyone to my kids or my mother until I KNOW where it's headed. he may want to date you exclusively but 6 weeks is not enough time to Sus someone out. not that i'm assuming you are a bad person. I am just telling you my stance as a single dad with a 2 & 4 yr old.
Author ozziegal8 Posted December 11, 2010 Author Posted December 11, 2010 but why did he ask me over tonight anyway? also he had kids bbq today so is strange i wasnt invited? he is sick not the kids he didnt sound well. i suggested tmw evening after his family bbq but he may have kids kinder xmas carols but said he will let me know? does it sound like he trying to get rid of me? or not interested?
