I need some suggestions for outdoor activities. It's a bit cold out, so this is hampering my second date ideas. If it was warmer, I would think zoo, park, or something like that. Although, the zoo has this awesome exhibit on polar bears going on.

Can some of you please give me some good options for a second date? I usually want the second date to be an activity of some sort. It's about 30 - 40 degrees outside, so this is making things a bit tough.

Ice skating is great in the winter if you can find an outdoor rink. Hiking is okay as long as the path is interesting and isn't too long. Or you could find a pond and feed the ducks. Ducks and geese are around in the winter.

Might be an interesting event. Neither of us have balance, so it will certainly be fun to do. So the Zoo thing isn't sounding that cool?

The zoo is a great one, but the weather has to be nice since you're going to be outside for a few hours at least, and you won't be doing something that will get your heart rate up and keep you warm, so wait on that one. Hiking is a good one, since you'll be active. I hike/climb in the winter and after about 20 minutes, I don't feel the cold anymore, and I'm a baby about the cold. I thought ice skating was good idea too. A day trip to go skiing/snowboarding would be a good one as well, but a bit expensive especially if you don't have gear, so maybe not on date two.

Tis the season to get with some reason. Sure, an outdoor day time thing would be great most times of the year but this is the time where it's limited unless you ski, ice fish, ice skate, go to football games, don't mind long walks in the cold. So, there are other things for the season (of cold days and earlier nights)--night life, hockey or basketball indoors, concerts, dinner and movie etc. Enjoy. (Build a sand box in your basement and play Beach Boys' Endless Summer in the meantime.)

I think it is too soon to invite each other over. I was going to do ice skating or the zoo (they have some inside exhibits too) and then next Friday probably dinner and then maybe drinks after.

Open to other options if anyone can think if them. There are some concerts around and comedy shows, but they are like a 45 minute drive and mucho bucks.

I am also going see if she'll let me pick her up. I think, if she said no to that, she's not that interested. However, since our first date/meet ended with a kiss, this might not be an issue.

but if you live in the suburbs, im sure there is a neighborhood that has christmas lights where u can walk/drivee around and see xmas lights and talk/drink coffee or whatever... its a good little date and perfect for a positive environment :)

Go Christmas shopping! Are there any outdoor 'christmas' markets near you? (or am I betraying my european roots?)

Be sure to walk under some mistletoe for a kiss opportunity. ;)

I suggested to do something Sunday, but, she said she's already doing something with her parents for Christmas shopping, but immediately offered any other day to spend time with me. I took that as a good sign, and we're going to do ice skating on Monday. I'm picking her up at her place, which is a plus too. Last girl I tried to setup a second date would not let me pick her up.

Just need to think of something to do with her on Friday for the third date.

If you and your date are into doing exciting stuff you could try Geocaching. It is an absolute blast!

Too cold. It's like 25 degrees or something w/o the wind chill.
