In my first marriage I had dishes thrown at me, was almost scalded with boiling water plus I was hit all the time. She also snuck up behind me and held a knife to my throat threatening to slice it. To top it off she shot at me after the divorce.

 

Despite all I was labeled the abuser in court even though I never once hit her.

Yeah, your ex was certainly unhinged to say the least.
