beachgirll2011 Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Hi everyone!!!! I have been dating lots of guys for the past 2 years after getting out of a 4 yr LTR. Anyway, I never wanted to make any of them serious. I recently re-connected with an old HS crush. We talked for a few weeks online and then he asked me out. I met him at 7:30. We talked for HOURS and had soooo much fun!!!!!!! He held my hand, kissed me a little which was cute, told people in the bar he was going to marry me and we really had an awesome time!!!! He was friends with the bartender so everything was a lot of fun! Around 2 he walked me to my car and we just kept hanging out for another 2 1/2 hours...so amazing!!!! He told me that he was supposed to go out with another girl on Thursday but that he liked me so much and was going to cancel and wanted to know if I could go out with him on Thursday...i of course said yes We made out like bandits in the car but he joked that I should be a hockey goalie bc i didn't let him do anything but the kissing lol Anyway that was this past Sunday night/Mon morning lol He said txt him when I got home and I txtd i had a a great time and couldn't wait to see him again. He replied the same and made up a cute nickname for me. Anyway he txtd me monday to see how my day was going. Then Monday around 8:30 pm i got a txt that said he had a great time even if i was a little dorky and that he owed me an eskimo kiss. For some reason i got the feeling the text was meant for another girl but I replied i would take all the kisses he wanted to give out. He didn't call me tuesday. Today i sent a text saying i couldn't wait to see him again and that i missed the kisses and he replied the same thing but in spanish which was cute. Anyway we are suppoed to go out tomorrow night but he is not calling and I am really confused. Does anyone have any advice on what this means? When do guys usually call to confirm plans?

As in; "I'll pick you up on Thursday at 7 and we'll go to Olive Garden?" or "I'll meet you at 4 at Outback?" If so, I don't think I'd expect a call confirming the time. You were together on Sunday/Monday until 430 am and had a couple texts on Monday as well. He initiated the Monday text. (Why did you think it wasn't for you?). You had no contact on Tuesday. And today he responded to your text saying in spanish that he he couldn't wait to see you again and missed the kisses. If you have a time and place for tomorrow, I myself wouldn't expect much more, but wouldn't be surprised if he contacted you tonight. If he hadn't attached a time, place and transportation to his invitation for a Thursday date, then I would expect a phone call or something solidifying it today. If he doesn't do it today/this evening, it wasn't a sincere date invitation. I dislike back and forth texting. After he responded in spanish today, I would have called him and told him that was cute and asked if you were still on for tomorrow. But you didn't. So if he didn't yet give details, you pretty much wait. If you don't hear from him by about 3 pm tomorrow, assume it's off. If he did give a time and place, don't worry about hearing from him. Also things that start with a blast of fireworks often die out just as quickly. I hope it works out for you.
