1956 Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 the last handful of girls i've dated have been a bit needy and i have lost interest very quickly...a few weeks ago i was out with friends and met a girl that was out with friends also, we talked all night. since then we have both initiated text convos and randomly met out a few times without planning ahead. i've picked up on the fact she's a pretty tough bird, something she openly acknowledges(perhaps part of my attraction to her) this past saturday i took her as my date to a friends xmas party. we had a great time, she took my hand as we walked and in the cab. we finished the night with a very intense make-out session that lasted quite a while. based on a few things she said to a friend at the party i'm pretty sure she has some trust issues...my question is how do i proceed with her? do i initiate the next convo/hang out? wait for her to? normally i'm pretty intuitive with what's too fast/slow, but in her case i'm not sure....advise/suggestions, please

If the makeout was genuine (and based on the hand-holding it sounds like it was), then she will be happy to hear from you. If it wasn't then she won't respond, or will avoid your attempts at another date. But waiting X amount of time before calling her is not going to change any of that. You clearly want to contact her, so do it!
