JohnnyDrama Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Met this girl online, we finally met on Saturday and everything went great there was real good chemistry. Before meeting we had talked for a month, she went away on vaca for a week, had a wedding another weekend. The time distance isn't a big issue 2 hr drive but this time of the year the highways are absolutely awful. When we talked she would ask me "how do you feel about a long distance relationship?" How long do you have to go out with a person before deciding to move it to another level? The past few weeks we each call one another once a week and the rest is spent texting or talking on the computer. She also had mentioned she had a long term relationship a long time ago when she was on the other side of the country. She said then so 2 hrs isn't a big deal and I agree it isn't. On Sunday we talked and she said "sorry to be blunt but are you available to go out on Friday." It is weird that she took the proactive approach and I had no problem with that. She cited she doesn't just want to see somebody and not see them again for 2 weeks and then maybe something else comes up. It makes a lot of sense, is she just making conversation when she asks these questions or gauging my interest and fish to see if I am receptive. To be honest I really am into this girl, she's my age and I have always dated younger. There was real good chemistry and things are going well. What are the thoughts of people here?
folieadeux Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I don't really get what advice you're looking for here. You guys are giving it a go and don't live that far apart at all. I think it's way too early at this stage to discuss any future plans about moving, etc. Just enjoy!
