friendly Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 I'm in a four month old first relationship with a really great guy. But lately I'm feeling more though like we're friends and less like b/f and g/f. I like doing the friendly stuff with him still... Hanging out and chatting and stuff, but its the romancy stuff that I'm not appreciating as much anymore. I think its time to break it off. He's a really awesome guy, and will be prolly be really disappointed.. He'll need his time and space, i know, but i dont want us to drift apart. I want break up, but i want to keep him as a friend. Can it be done? How do i handle this?
Tony T Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Just talk to him straight and tell him exactly how you feel. Just be kind about it and make sure he understands.
hurtingandconfused Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Give him a clean break. Tell him that you do not want to be with him anymore and will never be interested in getting back together as lovers(if thats how you feel.) Tell him to call you when he's ready to be friends and only friends. Don't say that you're sorry for hurting him.
Tony T Posted March 12, 2004 Posted March 12, 2004 Sometimes it's best just to end a relationship. I hate it when things are going really good and then it fizzles out.
