irc333 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I have noticed this is a common thing, let's say you're with a group that likes to hang out together, it has scheduled events and what not, ...let's say a singles church group for example. I am noticing that instead of the guy asking the woman out (at least not one on one) that they'll say, "Hey, the church is having a church picnic next weekend, I plan on going, do you plan on attending?" Apparently, this is a less pressure situation, and the guy isn't asking the woman out RIGHT off the bat. I noticed that women do this a lot more than men though, if they see a guy they like, theyd don't ask the guy outright, they just ask him if he plans on attending the same event HE plans on attending, hoping he'll be there....but I noticed men are kind of jumping on this bandwagon, too. Then at THAT get together, he'll probably make his move. Do any of you guys do this, ask a woman to join you at a future GROUP get together?
january2010 Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Some like to test the waters rather than to risk rejection by asking outright. It's probably an ego-protection thing.
