How do you know when you are in love with someone? What does it feel like when it is starting out in a new relationship? I've been in long relationships that lasted several years so I'm very familiar with loving someone as in you care about them, you worry about their safety and you want the best for them. But what does the "falling in love" part feel like?

Tingles, butterflies, wanting to see that person all the time, can't keep your hands off of them? or is that just lust?

Love is different things to different people and there is a difference between "love" and "being in love". "being in love" can mean the whole butterflies thing, there is probably is a fine line between love and lust anyway.

The easy way to tell, for me anyway is where I want them. If it's lust, I want the girl in my bed. If it's love, I want her in my arms. Of course, I do tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, so it makes it much easier for friends to recognize what state I'm in. They've told me that I have a LOT of tells when it comes to love.

It's hard to tell "falling in love"/"in love" from "lust" cause they both are momentary and dont last long.If "love" doesnt come after falling in love, then it's only a romanic term for "lust".Now looking back,i dont even say things like"i fell in love"or "i was in love". It's not real and can be all in your ahead.I believe in love, but hardly in falling in love.
