tiredofcaring Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Due to work. She offered to set up another date but we didn't specify anything. Well, I really like her but our schedules are difficult. I guess my gut tells me to just lay off from asking her out as I have asked her 2 times for a third, the first she couldn't, the second was secure until a work issue last minute. Do I just let it go, or do I call her one more time and try? If she is not into it, That's cool. She has continued to suggest she is into hanging out. But if she is into it will she contact me? She is being a bit allusive. I like when girls are just like, "I'm not interested." Is it the classic story as I am seeing other woman, but I want the one I can't have? I will say- she is amazing, and she is in a league of her own

I like to think of humans as rational beings capable of multitudes of thought processes. That every human is different in their ability to make decisions and the rules need not apply to one situation. However, in my experience one thing holds true about woman and dating. If a girl is generally interested in you.... work WILL NEVER BE AN ISSUE!!!! Yes; she has a life outside of you. But lets be honest with ourselves. It doesn't matter what stage of the dating game your in; sending a 3 word text or a 10 second phone call will not destroy her concentration at her job or interrupt her Oh-so-important life. This goes double if she hates her job!!!! My advice, drop her. Be honest with yourself too...Do you really want to be with her because you generally like her? Or because you can't have her when you want her? Don't put her on a pedestal.

Great post reply and exactly what I needed to hear, the same thing my gut has been telling me. I feel better already. I will just enjoy the date I have tonight with the girl that laughs at my stupid jokes:)
