humanracer25 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 An old cliche but what do you think? I think if you don't believe in God or fate then it is hard to imagine that somehow you will just bump into a girl you really like, especially if you have a job that doesn't allow you much room to meet people. People get a lot of stick for going on dating sites and actively looking for partners but maybe it is better to do that than sit and hope that you are going to bump into your ideal match at a supermarket or something.
shayan Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Honestly love can come at any moment, when you're looking, when you're not, you make your own life and whether you believe it comes when you're looking or not looking, you're right why do you think guys and gals go to parties or to dating websites. But I do believe it comes when you're not chasing it but rather welcoming it and knowing that you are deserving of it good luck I'd say just do fun things and you'll meet someone or go talk to a random girl or something, or try a dating website, there is no shame in going after what you want as long as it's not out of desperatism and fear but rather to improve your life and genuinly find someone you like. Good luck broski!
daphne Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Only people that are in relationships say this and cover up the fact that they didn't accidentally meet their significant other. Prince Charming isn't going to approach you at the grocery store or ring your doorbell while you're sitting on the sofa watching reality tv. You have to get out and meet people. Period.
Mad Max Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 You do have to get out and meet people. But if you're going out simply to find someone, then no it won't work. It'll happen when you least expect it.
Surrealist Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Plenty of multi-millionaires will tell you that you got to work hard if you want to get rich. Plenty of people work hard, but very, very few are rich.
musemaj11 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 I met my last gf in a soccer class where I got to meet a lot of people. Obviously if I didnt take the class, love wouldnt have found me ...
Confusedalways Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 For girls, maybe. But not for guys! Ironically I finally gave into internet dating-- went on a few dates, nothing sparked my interest and 3 days after I deleted my account, I met someone in the real world. Funny how it works....
