Apex101 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 So been 4 months NC after break up. had a date 2nite, prob number 5 or 6 since the break up, but somethings just not there... whilst im on the dates i dont really feel like im fully there in my head, my Wind runs and im not sure if my dates have picked up on this and think im rude or just distant, none have commented but then iv not really spoke to them much more after the 1st date i just let it fizzle out..... Its worrying me as usually im a very interested person, whether i know them or not, or whether i know they not the right girl for me, i usually enjoy good chats and converstaion with new people about new things even if i know i wont see them again.....but now i cant seem to find that place. Its not that im pining, i know its over and the ex is not gonna be in my life anymore and im beggining to be cool with that. Im just worried its taken the spark from me......and im worried that i might miss out on getting to know some great girls in the future if it doesnt change.... thoughts anyone?
EricaH329 Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 It doesn't matter if you've been in NC for a week, or a year and it doesn't matter how long you've been broken up. If you don't take the time to focus on yourself, and figure out what you want in your life and in your future... how do you expect to find that in someone else? And even more than that, if you cannot be happy by yourself, it won't matter how many people you surround yourself with, you will still feel as though something is missing. Because it is. The happiness that you find within yourself. My advice to you, is to take a break from dating. Give yourself some alone time. Do the things that you enjoy. Think about what you want to do with your life, and how you want to get there. Make yourself happy. Everything else will fall into place after that.
