I've been doing online dating for a few weeks now, and met a guy that seemed pretty nice, and normal, however after getting comfortable with each other, after about a week or so of emails, we exchanged numbers, and personal email addresses. He emailed me yesterday, and attached on of the pictures from his profile to the email, I didn't think much of, just figured maybe he did it in case I was emailing other men too, and I would remember exactly who he was, but then he texted me a few times and next thing you know I get a picture mail from him....it was another picture of him, that he probably had just taken on his phone. Nothing inappropriate or anything, but it just makes me wonder how you would feel if someone you just started talking to online did something like that? I don't want to make too big deal out of nothing, but how do you respond to a picture of someone that you didn't ask for, I don't know if it's a form of fishing for compliments, or just all in good fun or what, would this weird you out?

That would be a bit of a turn off to me, especially given they were self taken and posed. Maybe he wanted you to reply with some photos? He probably just thought he was looking good and wanted to show off to you.

Just a picture of himself? No explanation? That’s weird.

Yeah, that is weird! He was probably expecting you to write back & tell him how good he looked or something. I would just ignore the picture messages!
