Tiberius Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Is there some kind of condition that might enable a woman to build up a lot of lean muscle without steroids?
skydiveaddict Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 There might be, but I'm not aware of any.
Enema Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Sure, you could have a myostatin deficiency. Pretty unlikely though.
Surrealist Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Sure, you could have a myostatin deficiency. Pretty unlikely though. Yeah that was what I was thinking. Or you could have unusually high naturally occurring testosterone levels. But like anyone, some people just genetically respond well to weight training, with or without steroids.
Author Tiberius Posted December 2, 2010 Author Posted December 2, 2010 It must be a combination of things.
sally4sara Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Hmmm. there is a dog that goes to my vet that looks like its owner gives it steroids but its actually a health condition. Not sure if it is something people can have too. I'll be sure to ask next time I'm in and then check to see if people can have the same condition.

It must be something like that, because she looks extremly strong and muscular, she trains too of course.

Yeah yeah! I called her (my vet) to ask because I know her outside of just taking my dog to her. That is exactly what the dog's condition is and yes people and other animals can have it too! so weird! Learn something new everyday! Well, when I'm lucky anyway.

She puts many (female) professional bodybuilders who use steroids to shame, I didnt notice odd hair or syrings or weird capsules while poking around, so that might be it. Thanks for calling the vet Edited December 3, 2010 by Tiberius
