Chace Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 So me and my girlfriend got in this huge fight the other day. It was in front of other people at school which I guess makes it worse. She's really pretty, but she doesn't have the best self confidence for some reason. I had heard another girl say she thought my girl looked like a mouse so during the fight I said that she looked like a mouse and that she was ugly and I called her a f*****g b***h. I didn't mean it, I was just mad. She said that I was an a*shole and she didn't even do s**t to me which pissed me off so I told her I didn't even care about her and I never loved her and I never would. She started to cry and said that was really f*****g low. Now she's being a total c**t and won't even talk to me and she broke up with me right after that fight. I don't think I did anything wrong. Do you think she's overreacting? I still want to be with her because I love her so how do I get her to stop being stupid and get over it and talk to me again?

Only now you're the one who is going to have to drink your own medicine and precisely "stop being stupid and get over it".

You pressed a button on her insecurity AND called her ugly AND screamed profanity at her. AND you said you never loved her and never would. AND now you're telling US she's being the C-word (but you love her, even as you call her names NOW?). I mean, from where I stand, she's not being all that stupid for breaking things off. I guess the first step is: Stop using hurtful langauge, even in thought, and apologize sincerely. And wait. And maybe she's too smart to take you back; in which case, good for her. It sounds like she said some hurtful things too... but nowhere near what you said. I mean, wow, those are some major insults to come back from.

You say ****ty things, treat your girl like ****, and then you say you didn't do anything wrong. I have a handful of friends in relationships like this, or WERE in a relationship like this and made the mistake you did and still think they did nothing wrong. I like to think I'm a nice guy, because when my lady friends tell me their problems I just can't imagine doing what their boyfriends do to them. Guy, you really ****ed up. If you are to stupid to see it, its best you move on. You dont say those things to someone you love. Ever. The worst part is, you did it in public. You don't have any idea how degrading that probably was to her. In front of people she might have known, people you might have known. Word DOES get around, and they will put a name to your face and say "That's the guy who was a total dick to her" You don't want to be "That Guy" do you? Like some have said, get your attitude in check. Guys that do what you did are a huge reason why I listen to my ladyfriends boyfriend Drama. They can't tell their boyfriend, so they tell me.
