This forum is pretty interesting, I'll try becoming an active poster, because I wouldn't only want an answer to my question and not contribute anything. ) Anyway, so I've liked this girl for a while. We got closer recently. For her 18th birthday, we danced together all night in a nightclub. Last Wednesday, I took her out for lunch and when I offered to pay, she didn't look really surprised. We had a really good time and she laughed a lot. The catch? She's extremely shy. Anyway, last night we went out again and when I tried dancing with her again - twice - , both times she kind of backed away. And from what I know (I saw a text message she sent to one of her friends), after our lunch together, she said exactly, referring to the lunch: "It was really nice I don't know what to think now though... i'm so confused inside my head." She's really shy, and considering I kind of got rejected last night, that kind of hurt. And I just don't know what the "i'm really confused" part means, but I'm not supposed to know she said that. So right now, I'm pretty much stuck. She doesn't know what she wants. Her best friend assured me it's not that she doesn't want to, but that it's really because she doesn't know. What should I do now? I'm afraid if I try take a step further too early, she'll be scared, but if I keep going this way, things will go nowhere. And what happened last night really didn't help.
