NeoGen85 Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 There's a friend I know that I do find very attractive and we have a lot in common. One of the things I like is how we can have a intellectual conversation which I never had before in my previous relationship. But she has a boyfriend which is a key reason why I haven't pursued her and in some cases I just shouldn't. So I am definitely aware of my boundaries. About 3 times out of the week I receive a text or a phone call late in the night from her asking me what I am doing knowing I work a normal 8 hour job Monday through Friday. Then she'll insist to come over; or she'll be hanging out with her own boyfriend only to tell me that she's bored and wanted to know if I would like to do something. One day I asked about her boyfriend. She told me that she loved him which is a clear sign for me to back away. I would not want to ruin a relationship that has no problems. But I just see two people in relationship just for the sake of being in one. It's still not about me. So I've been inviting her and the boyfriend out when she wants to spend time with me. But I always get this excuse that he doesn't want to join us. We go out and always have a blast but am I just the outgoing friend that she just wants to "hang out" with?
