When it comes to pursuing women, I've always tried to keep it simple: if I'm interested, I pursue. If she rejects me, I wish her well and move on. If she doesn't respond, I wait and try again. If she doesn't respond a second time, I move on.

However, after reading some of the older posts on this forum, I wonder if this comes across as desperate and insecure (or worse, stalker-ish!) instead of simply interested? I'm guessing it depends on how long I wait to try again if I leave a message and get no response. What is considered a reasonable time? Or should I not even bother?
