soxfan1032 Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 He is 7 years old. His dad lives in another state and visits 2-3 times a month. He buys him everything he asks for. Mom tries to keep up on her end and does the same. He has tantrums when his way isn't met. She basically exhausts herself trying to keep him happy and calm. I don't dare say anything or I am the bad guy. His attitude pretty much dictates where we go and what we do. Im thinking if he is this bad at 7 how bad is it going to get. I didn't think I would date anyone with young kids again for this very reason. She is very very sensitive to anything I do as far as disciplining him. I just don't know if i can do this. She also has a 21 yr old daughter lives with her who is spoiled as well. Her dad walked out before she was born, see's him rarely. Both my kids are grown and on there own.
