SandyFall Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Do you ever post stupid stuff on Facebook and then completely forget about it until after you added the person that you're dating/in a relationship? I'll give you some background info about my situation. I've been dating a guy and although I will be graduating from school next spring, I've told him that I want to stay here in this city afterwards, which is 100% true. However, last month I was having some issues with depression and was really burnt out so a lot of my Facebook statuses dealt with that. I also wrote how much I hated the current city that I'm living in and how I couldn't wait to leave. I completely forgot about all of the stuff, but it's too late now. If I delete those statuses and comments right now, it will be too obvious and he'll notice that they're gone. But I don't want him to think that I'm miserable right now and want to move. This is a really stupid situation, I know, but it's bothering me so much.

SignalFlare Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Yeah he probably won't even see them, but if he does just explain that you were frustrated with whatever and those status updates were your way of venting. If you shrug it off so will he.
