exoduse22 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 How to look approachable in events like parties without doing the humble kind of smile. Something a bit more aggressive but not boastful; maybe just looking confident enough to be approached by especially women (opposite my sex). I have an unapproachable facial expression which I sometimes really try to not do, but I don't really know what facial expression is on my face and usually emotion do get in the way. Generally, I find it hard to get along with people because I usually have problems on facial expressions like eye contact being not consistent and my facial expression also not consistent. So I really need help to keep a constant and decent facial expression without looking weird to the person I'm talking to because it is my #1 problem which is interfering with a really big part of my social life and generally my whole life. Thanks guys really appreciate help
miracle252 Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I don't really know what facial expression is on my face and usually emotion do get in the way. Make an experiment at home. Take a mirror and call someone. Try to talk with different people by phone on different issues while looking in the mirror. Then, you will see your facial expression in different situation. If you’ll see in the mirror your facial expression which you don’t like, you need to start to control yourself . I don’t say that you’ll get positive result from the first time. However, this is a way how speakers, actors, dancers, and politicians learn to control their facial expression before going to the stage.
