siuys Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 hi all, just finished reading 'Forget Mr Married' by Sally Webb. Found it very helpful.
Author siuys Posted November 24, 2010 Author Posted November 24, 2010 I also read: "This Affair is Over" by Nanette Miner "Dating the Divorced Man" by Christie Hartman as well as "How to Survive your boyfriend's divorce" Robyn Todd All these books have xMM written all over it, in various degrees and a lot of it definitely I can relate to. When I first read "This Affair is Over", I broke up with him (at the very beginning) but I caved after. I was naive and thought our situation was different. I didn't realise the addiction part, I didn't realise the pain that I would be experiencing, and I certainly did not anticipate the roller coaster, the anguish, the flipping and flopping. I feel weird in a way coz now I feel more objective when I read them and recognise a lot of the stuff - yup, yup, yup, been there, yup, seen that, yup he fits into this pattern and that. I guess a lot of it boils down to human frailty and behaviour, hence we are not ALL that different.
