I was wondering, do women sometimes give men that "window of opportunity" to have sex with him, and if he doesn't get the hint, she blows him off if he attempts to ask her out again?

For instance, let's say a woman is into a guy, and wants to have sex with him on the first date, and gives some of hint to do so, but maybe the guy thinks to him self (that, "no way, this is just a FIRST date, there's no way she wants to have sex with me on a FIRST date, I'll just wait to get home, and ask her out for a 2nd date)

At that point, he's missed his "Window of Opp" and she gets irritated (sometimes it's a major ego blow to a woman) and he calls her up again to ask her out on a 2nd date.

She doesn't return his calls or blows him off because she's thinking, "You blew it pal, you had your chance the other night, and I'm moving on"

Do you think this is unfair to the guy? Can't she just think, "Oh, maybe he needs to give it time or he probably thinks I need time?"

I've often wondered if I missed out on opportunities to have sex, because I personally don't like to have sex too soon.

I've always thought, a woman who is willing to have sex quickly is probably....well...has probably been with ALOT of men.

And that's an issue with me, because I don't care for "fast" women too much.

You have good instincts, young grasshopper.

Any woman who would not go out on another date with me because I "missed my window of opportunity" is not a woman I would want a relationship with. This type of mentality is consistent with controlling behavior, capriciousness, and a sense of entitlement.

What do you think about a guy says that he will dump any girl who doesn't put out on the third date? Personally, I think they are scum.

Your hypothetical scenario is the role reversal, with an added twist of passive-aggressive pathology.

If a woman has a relatively rigid and small sex related window of opportunity, then you are just a casual fling. Usually it happens right away, not even on the first date. She tries to have a ONS, if you didn't get the memo, she's outta there. Don't expect her to call you back, even if numbers were exchanged.

I would think it's rare that if she's interested in going on dates with you that she would have a strict window of opportunity for sex. Timing issues happen all the time, everyone move at different speeds. If she's interested in more than just sex, then it could happen a bit sooner or later, I don't think that would matter. The more she likes you the more flexible she'd be willing to be. But if you really screw up and completely missed it, I'd expect her to lose interest and move on to other men, unless she's just using you for free meals.

I've had "fast" women that turned out to be awesome women. I would prefer a "fast" woman that says what she means and means what she says over a "non-fast" woman that's playing hard to get ANY DAY. But that's just me.
