moimeme Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 Have a boo at this man's 'Life List'. And at what's checked off! http://www.wamware.com/world-religions/life-list.htm
End of my rope Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 THAT'S THE KIND OF LIFE I WANNA LEAD. KUDOS TO HIM THAT HE SET THOSE GOALS AND WENT OUT AND DID IT!
amerikajin Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 I (and the rest of us mortal men) am humbled every time I look at Kevin's picture
carla Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 As I was reading that I was thinking gee if I could do 1 or 2 of thoughs things wow. As I turns out I've done 6 Whoopee. What an adventurous life. When and where did he find the time to have a wife and 5 children? Which story does he tell his grandchildren first? Which of all these adventures was the most exciting? That would be a hard question to answer.
Errol Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 I'm tired just reading the list!!! I got a chance to hear him speak once. I was enthralled and yes, very humbled.
befuddled11 Posted March 10, 2004 Posted March 10, 2004 He certainly has been an ambitious, adventurous man.....but I have to be honest and say I don't feel humbled by reading his list of personal accomplisments. It would appear that almost all of the things he's done, he's done for himself....and not, say, for the improvement or betterment of society. I am humbled by people who do things to make the world a better place, who make some sort of personal sacrifice in order to do so. Just my opinion.
InmannRoshi Posted March 11, 2004 Posted March 11, 2004 I noticed he doesn't have "lit a fart" on the list. Heh .. I still got a one-up on him.
NatoPMT Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 hes certainly lived a full life but id be impressed if hed done something to aid all the communities hes lived with and habitats of the species hes scared into charging/biting him.

So you weren't impressed that he'd done all those things in one lifetime? One single man! And...what have you done to aid those in your community lately?
NatoPMT Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 i am not going to list my personal achievements on an open forum. could email you my CV which does have th discovery of a new species on it plus conservation work. am hoping to start work with an animal charity in the near future - so ner. i think i am supposed to put a wink or something there but computer literacy isnt one of those achievements. either way - doesnt mean i HAVE to be impressed with his achievements. i think hes done a lot, but that doesnt necessarily impress me.
