Did You Get Your Ex Back From The Person They Left You For?

Has anyone successfully got their ex back from the person they originally left you for? My ex left me for someone else a few months ago and I really want him back. Is no contact the best method? After how long did they come back?

My ex did not come back. He hurt me horribly, and it was the pain that made me want him back, not the love. After a period of time, you hopefully will not want him back.

 

Anyone that cheats on you is not worth it, you deserve better. I've been on lots of boards and it is RARE that people get back together and that it works out for the long haul. Consider that a chapter of your life that is over, and it's time to start a new one. It will hurt, I know that all too well, but he is with someone else now, and you should start to move on. Sorry.

My ex left me for another man, she denies it happened that way, but the facts say different, and no one believes her, not even her own mother.

 

She has not come back, I have not heard from her, and I am in NC. I miss her terribly though and it breaks my heart knowing she doesn't want me anymore.

Nope I got something better. I got to see him hit rock bottom, call me in the middle of the night while drinking and telling me he made a huge mistake, see her leave him within a week of breaking up with me, and the satisfaction that I wasn't wrong in thinking he still loved me.

Don't get back with the person who drop you off so easily regardless whatever their reasons are.

This actually happened to my ex-boyfriend. His girlfriend left him for someone else, then she later wanted him back... though he eventually broke up with her.

 

I can't see myself taking someone who left me for someone else. Even if I wanted them, I don't think I could get over the idea of coming in second.

my ex came back, after "wanting to go on a break", which i found out that she slept with some guy while telling me she wanted to work things out. She left that guy, to try and get back with me. She also slept with another guy after that, but i told her to leave me the hell alone.

 

then her grandfather passed away, and she came TRUCKING back. begging me. It was only guilt that made her come back, and she wanted to honestly change, which she DID. stopped drinking, improved her life, etc.

 

but. she did it again 6 months later, but this time in an hour broke up with me over somethin stupid, then hooked up with a guy she just met. is drinking, doint EVERYTHING SHE DID THE 1st time. She might try it again, i honestly dont know.

 

dont give in. If you take someone back who feels guilty, its so THEY feel better, not you. so you can forgive what they did, sure. But it wont last.

i'm sure glad i ignored my ex when she contacted me. she was fawking another, she left me for someone else, almost got away with it too but her best friend told me she was banging another dude, contacted me 2.5 years later, ignored the friend request.
