I got to know a girl from school that while 18 years old, was veeeeery sheltered (never had a bf before, had an early curfew still from her parents, very quiet all the time). Even when we hung out as just lab partners before I could see her hand trembling. She was soooo nervous and awkward. Anyways, after studying one time I took her to a movie and sushi. Although not a formal date it was still something. I spent $60 on her and never got a thank you. Never happened before.
