We've had unexpected guests and a work deadline I almost forgot about. Sorry to hear that this didn't pan out. The bolded sounds like he might have been on something during the date. Cocaine or some other kind of chemical accelerant. That would explain a few things actually. Especially the over zealous affection and compliments. It would also explain the abrupt about face- the day after comedown so to speak.

Or he might be ready for something more hardcore than coke or an upper and having dates with someone for two nights in a row might be putting a kink in his drug play time.

I would be a hypocrite if I was totally opposed to recreational drug use, as I have dabbled in the past, however his use sounds unhealthy to say the least. There is something very disturbing about someone who loses THREE DAYS due to substance abuse.
