I think I made myself look like a sissy

Been out on a couple of dates with this girl, we talk on the phone and things are going pretty nice.

 

I thought back on something that I said and I think it might have been a mistake. Somehow, on two different instances, I brought up a time that I cried. I forget what the context of the conversation was but once I told her that I cried when my dog died, another time I told her I cried when my best friend moved away and there was another time but I forget what I said.

 

So I'm really feeling she might have a red flag against me. Girls what do you think. What if a guy was that open with his feelings a few weeks into it? I don't think I even want to hear the answer to this *cringe*

I personally think it is sweet, it shows me that you have enough courage to admit that you cry. It shows that not only are you sensitive, but that you are strong enough to admit this.

I think some girls might be turned off by it, but I think it's sweet

I think it's endearing you cried for your dog and your friend, but anymore volunteering to tell her how emotional you are as a person, you're bound to strike out.

At first, I would probably think, "how sweet", then I would think, "wow, this guy is going to be clingy" ... It would not be a deal breaker but I would definitely proceed with extreme caution.

That wouldn't bother me, I like emotional openness. I wouldn't like it if he followed that up with clingy or whiny behavior, however.

 

Some girls will be a little turned off by it, but some girls will think you have the sensitive soul of a musician or a poet, it really just depends on the girl.
