We recently became single because a girlfriend in college takes up too much time that i dont have. But I am still totally in love with her and we talk everyday and stuff and when I am home Im going to see her and hang out. She is the most amazing, beautiful girl in the world and i would take a bullet for her in a heartbeat. But being in college and meeting new girls and hanging out and maybe hooking up makes me feel absolutely terrible because I feel as though I am cheating my true feelings. I dont want to cheat i dont want to be a cheater when I am older so I do not want to start bad habits now. But i do want to experience college to the fullest and I know thats a part of it. However I am terrified of losing her because I am scared I will never meet somebody else like her. WE love each other to death and we plan on getting back together over the summer, but I feel as though she would be devastated if she found out what my college life was like. she is themost cleancut girl, doesnt drink, i am her only kiss, etc. She is amazing. She def isnt doing anything with other guys I know that for a fact. And she asks me if I'm doing anything and I lie to her so I dont hurt her. So i just feel really bad and I feel like a cheater even though I am single. I dont know what to do but I do know that i really want to end up with her. any advice helps Edited November 22, 2010 by ah8kp

Having a great long-term relationship can be just as good as, or even better than, messing around with many in college. A relationship doesn't have to take up all of your time. For example, I am in a relationship of one month, and we see each other about once or twice a week right now. This is very easy to fit into our schedules, and we are happy to do so! When there are vacations from school, I'm sure we will be able to see each other more, and I look forward to that. Where there's a will, there's a way! You guys obviously care about each other, so it seems like it would be worth a try! Don't you think? Good luck!

I know we are gonna get through this its just a matter of figuring out what is best for us. I know we are both young and have a lot of living to do. So i dont wanna do anything that would ruin it for the future.

The same thing you want to experience in college is the same things most girls want to experience too. However, they will probably leave you once they find a hotter more attractive guy. College years go by fast. Hooking up with multiple girls only leads to increased chances of stds. Stop lying to her for one. I hope she is hooking up with guys because what you have done is absolutely horrible. Trust is one thing that holds people together. If i were her i would dump you. But im not her and you have to be honest with her right away. Even if your single you are leading her on. Either you want her or you don't but at least you recognize your feelings.
