So I got a message Saturday morning on match.com from a guy who wrote the night before expressing his interest. I responsed and included my phone number. He called that afternoon and we spoke briefly and he said he'd love to go out the following night. I agreed and he said he'd call the next day to figure out a good time.

Well that was supposed to be today. I text him in the morning just saying "good morning." He responded around 1 in the afternoon saying he'd just arrived home from work and was going to sleep. He's a doctor with a demanding schedule, so I didn't take offense to the late response.

Anyway, I was on match.com around 4 and it said he was online, which I found perculiar. Around 7:45 I text him saying, "Guessing you overslept." About 15 minutes later he sent a text saing he'd just woken up. I didn't respond. 45 minutes later, he sent another text apologizing. I responded with, "Well have a good week. Ttyl."

I think he's playing me. My friend is advising me to give him a chance if he calls or texts again, but I'm leading towards ignoring him completely. I'm a bit jaded after recent experienes with men. From the outside looking in, do you think I'm being unfair, or should I listen to my gut?

Wow, an old thread... anyway...

If he's on BB, he might not be logging off "correctly" from the dating sight and appear to be online.. I see it all the time; ie I log in at 4 am my time, and see 30 women online, no way, lol... It happens with my bb as well, I might just flip screens and forget I am logged in, so it seems I am on all day and night, lol..

He's a Dr, so you know he has to have a BB (blackberry).
