"If I called you at 4am to say ive heard noises in the basement, would you come over to check on and comfort me"?

your answer (and you should mean this) should be ..YES , ABSOLUTELY

she wants to know that you care enough about her and her welfare and that she is a priority. that youre a gentlemen and youre at least her friend to do that. peronsally i think its a great question. why be with a guy who doesnt give a flying ... about you? why waste your time. these are the qualities woman really look for in a man. men think its always about money. you'd be surprised what really counts MORE

So, what happened?

Well, he called her up and told her that her neighbors have informed him that there are noises coming from her basement and that he will need to come over and check up on her and provide comfort.

Make sure to check for monsters under her bed...if you know what I mean.

Uhm, well..it sounds to me like your run of the mill spam message.

She's just being cute. Totally cute. Flirty. She wants you to protect her, in that cutesy way. Don't take it literally.

About 3 years ago, one of my male BFFs started dating this girl. He wasn't sure how much she liked him. One night, randomly, she sent him a message (paraphrasing) that said, "I'm cold." He responded by saying something, "Come over and snuggle with me." She said, "Only if you promise not to steal the covers."

Even in the context of their new relationship, he didn't get what her message "really meant" either. I told him it didn't "really mean" anything, other than, "I really like you."

I was right. They got married last month. :)

Dude, it's just a flirt. Are women really that confusing?
