Rosberg Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) first the backstory: while we were dating i was doing IT projects for her for college, these really easy ones (ms word, ms this and ms that) anyway...now that we've broken up, i see no reason for staying in contact with her, nor do i see any reason for helping she continue with this thing, call me evil, but she broke my heart. i still have her instructions book for the It class and she just sent me a text message saying the following "you have to finish the IT projects for this week so i won't get a 0 (icelandic grading system is 0-10) because you didn't give me the book before the weekend (last chance to turn in it projects is sundays at 11:55pm). i'm thinking about writing her back saying "i know you won't get a 0, you'd already gotten a 6 or a 7 for sure, so the teacher can't flunk you in it class for missing out one week." "I replied, you're on your own, you let me go, and forgot your book at my home" and wrote another one immediately after that saying "just like you replied when i told you i miss you (when we were together) i don't care" what do i do? of course i realise i'm going to have to return the book, which i will, to her niece on monday, but that's besides the point, do i reply to her? what do i do? PegNosePete Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Give her book back and don't reply to her any more.
hoping2heal Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Wow, self entitled and has no qualms about cheating on her schoolwork? My, isn't she lovely. Anyhow - yes get her book back to her soon as possible, using the neice is a good idea - you will avoid seeing her then. After that, ignore.
KLM10 Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Don't reply to her..she doesn't deserve it..if i were you, i would just return the book to the niece and cut off all contact with her..
lapse Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) LMAO You *gots* to be kidding! Who cares if she gets a zero. That's hilarious. Anyhoo. ETA: yea, your response is fine. I wouldn't get into it if I were you. It is just absurd that it's your job to do her work. Maybe no reply, but perhaps an anticlimactic "GL with your class. I'm sure you'll do fine."
