Rosberg Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 It's been more than 24 hours since we talked, and immediately i feel better picked up a friend at around 7pm, went for about a two hour drive, listened to some music, and i popped in a cd my ex compiled about 4 weeks ago i of course shed a few tears, but tears of joy, for i'd no longer have to worry about her not answering my texts for over 12 hours (she lives on the countryside during weekends, and around this time they've ALOT to do so when she'd come home she'd just go straight to bed, for having to wake up at 5 or 6 am is a bitch). Anyway...we popped the sucker in, enjoyed the hell out of Swedish house mafia's One (one of ex's favorite songs) ****, we even sang along i remember the cd having the following songs: Journey - Don't stop believing (also one of my favorite songs) (ex also loved when i'd sing the song in a high pitched voice) Muse - Undisclosed Desires (i know the whole lyrics) Sean Kingston - Fire Burning (somebody call 911, shawty's fire burning on the dance floor) Swedish House Mafia - One Peter Bjorn & John - Young Folks The Ramones - The KKK Took my baby away Eminem - When I'm Gone (for some stupid reason the poor girl had the clean version, which she insisted i had sent her, i didn't for i don't keep clean versions of songs, they annoy me) Two or three techno/dance songs. me and my friend had alot of fun singing along to these songs... went to a party at around 9pm drank my ass off (i've low tolerance, but i drank about 8 beers) drove some friends home (i may've been drunk, but goddamn it, i AM a responsible, responsive person!). Flirted with a friend's girlfriend of 3 years (whoops, my bad) thankfully i just figured when i was about to flirt more that OH her boyfriend would beat the living **** out of me if he'd find out, so i stopped. All in all, a great night, arrived home about an hour ago (5am). still a little drunk, but i'm not one of those people who become incapable of writing after having a few good drinks.
sedgwick Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 drank my ass off (i've low tolerance, but i drank about 8 beers) drove some friends home (i may've been drunk, but goddamn it, i AM a responsible, responsive person!). As someone whose close friend, a cyclist, was recently hit by a drunk driver while riding her bike and left for dead, this pisses me off hugely. She survived, but with permanent brain damage and the inability to move her left eye, in which she is now legally blind. Please consider your choices more carefully.
Author Rosberg Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) I'm sorry for your friend Sedgwick, but i come from a somewhat long line of drivers, ex. my mom gve me a fiat uno when i was 12, plus i'm not the kind of person who'd drunken stumble towards his car and go for a drive. Edited November 21, 2010 by Rosberg cause i could
sedgwick Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 There is no excuse for drinking and driving, ever. "I come from a long line of drivers?" So do most people. Totally unacceptable, on all levels, in all ways.
