I rarely hear from this "friend" and his mother had a brain hemmorage thing happen and has lost use of her left side. I've semi-taken care of my Grandma as a tween, really was party to my mother taking care of her and I honestly know it's work. Sure he offered to pay me, didn't get to the how much part but that is something I just can't bring myself to do, and I'm a do just about anything kind of person. He asked if I could go over there and spend the night a few times a week. Really she'll need full-time care and they just don't want to or can't afford to pay for it. I don't know, we aren't that close of friends, just hang out friends every so often. I'm sure he hates me for saying no but that's pushing the friend line too far IMO. If my best friend asked me to look after her mother I might, but this is an acquaintance friend at most.
KraftDinner Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 WOW. That 'friend' has a lot of nerve. I can't believe anyone would ask someone that -- unless that someone did that sort of thing as a job, which it doesn't sound like you do. Unreal!
