waitedtoolong Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 I've been seeing a girl for the last 2.5 weeks and I was wondering if inviting her to come as my date to my company's xmas party would be too early. For the last 2 weeks we have been seeing each other and spending the night together almost every day. It's been quite a long time since I've dated (5 years...long story posted a bit ago in another thread) and am not sure if inviting her to the event is a good idea....

Im thinking about x-mas and stuff, especially thanksgiving, things are going good so far but i dunno if its too soon, or if i ignore it and she thinks i dont want her to meet my family.

If you've been spending every day together and sleeping over- I don't know why you wouldn't ask! People often get busy over the holidays, so booking ahead and securing the date now might not be a bad idea. Sometimes you meet someone and you just know- so ask.

I think it is probably appropriate to ask ... we are taking a trip together over the thanksgiving holidays and she already tells me she loves me ... It wouldn't hurt to ask right? (I hope)

How long has it been since you've had contact with him? If it has only been a couple days, it could be that he is just waiting a few days to call (some guys think it is good to wait a couple days before calling). But I don't know what kind of guy he is. So it is really hard to determine why he stopped contacting you. I wouldn't think you are a slut at all. In my relationships, I usually have sex by the 2nd date.
