NoIDidn't Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I wonder what is the general BS view on why the WS would not want to speak to the OP? They have a reason, right? I think the WS doesn't want to speak to the OP generally because they don't want to keep apologizing for not being the person they led the OP to believe they were. There is shame involved, but I think its just another proof of conflict avoidance. Plus, the WS isn't married to the OP so they don't have to subject themselves to that conversation if they don't want to. That has to drive reality home for some OPs though. Painfully. Yuck. I think this is why so many BSs don't understand why an OP doesn't believe that the WS is lying to them as well. They so callously deal with the BS and display all this bravado about how they would handle a d-day with the OP, but when it happens, the OP is the one on the receiving end of it instead. And the OP didn't see it coming most of the time. And a lot of time the WS justifies it to themselves because they didn't like the way the OP enjoyed how badly they said they were going to treat their spouse to begin with. Affairs are twisted things.
