It's not a moral or ethical issue.

Any position that one finds oneself in that involved right or wrong choices is a moral or ethical issue provided the choices and likely consequences were relatively clear. Of course overweight people are not villains, and the ethical content of things one does in the personal sphere is almost always less than when one's choices affect others.

No, no certainly not aimed at you, but those who would maintain the argument that people should love them the way they are when they are heavily overweight (like you said in your first paragraph above) yet bring morals or ethics into the situation when the people that aren't attracted to then are 'shallow' and so on.

I know a diverse selection of plus size women in relationships with a diverse selection of men. I do not believe that being plus size means you cannot get a man at all. However, what kind of man are you looking for? I know plenty of plus size women who are just as "shallow" as men who only go for thin women. They want a man who is a certain height, a certain body type, and so on and so forth. As a plus size woman it does not mean no man will be attracted to you, but perhaps the men you are attracted to will not be. However, just because you were thin would not necesarily mean a man would find you attractive either.

It just depends, however losing weight and getting in better physical shape will likely open up your options as well as help better your health. I always say you have to expect from a relationship only what you can give. In some cases you get lucky and get something you can't return to your partner. That is a gift so to speak, but you should not assume the expectation.

Hi everyone

Is it really all about looks now? If you're a fun, confident and averagely attractive plus size girl it seems no one wants to date you!!!

Im finding it very hard to find someone that isnt just all about looks, and being shallow and only choosing perfectly thin girls....

please any guys out there tell me your thoughts because im starting to lose confidence in myself when meeting new men and i really dnt want that to happen. icon9.gif

I get so tired of women saying things such as this.

Your first problem

To be blunt everything is all about looks upfront. When a guy first meets you he has nothing to go off of but your appearance. I know your type. Get your self in tip top shape, and look your best, and stop looking at men who have a thin woman fetish. I don't know if your in america but if you are, the average woman here is a size 14 , which is a plus size. Now, unless the entire male population in america is going gay, they are with plus sized women. And dont expect any man to NOT look at, or feel attracted to skinny women. I used to say to my friends "There are two types of women all men love. White women, and skinny women." And it's true. Every guy loves a good skinny woman; 95% of porn features them, and most men watch porn.

Your second problem

You are consciously thinking these women are "Perfectly thin".

Even thin girls have problems, including cellulite. There are a lot of misconception when it comes to real-life skinny women, and real-life plus sized women. The last woman I was involved with was a nice size 16, had no stomach, beautifully curved muscular legs, and every part of her body was beautifully put together, and firm. I cant tell you how many skinny women I've seen walking around with flabby thighs. But she took care of herself, and she had men breaking their necks everyday trying to get a peak at those legs.

Your third problem

"please any guys out there tell me your thoughts because im starting to lose confidence in myself when meeting new men and i really dnt want that to happen. "

That screams desperation; your not only asking for advice because your losing confidence, but your asking men. Which leads me to believe that your extremely desperate for any male attention.

Bottom line: You have confidence issues. And thats fine, but you need to get some help, and ultimately learn to love yourself.

My ears are always open btw

Google "Samantha38g", "MsDawnP" or "April Flores" to see that BBWs can be HOT!

geez, thanks guys ... you're a real buzz-kill for heavier women.

I guess we just need to crawl back into our caves – you know, since we're too fat to waddle even – and hide our hideous selves from the rest of mankind. Because God only knows we could never attract decent men (personality- or looks-wise) because we're such losers, and we're better off being hidden away from society like a crazy aunt who is chained up in the basement.

ROFLMAO

Well I'd never do that! But it's sure funny to imagine ^^.

I have plenty of men who want to be with me. I'm no twiggy!

I have to turn down 'invitations' to sex often. Do I think I'm hot? Hell no!

Why do they think I'm sexy? Iono?!? I'd really like an answer to that question. I have been breaking my brains about "what mystique I hold" to garner such attention.

But hey, I do carry myself confidently and I rarely let anyone see me down, depressed or overworked.

Question

If people were not so worried about what others thought would size be an issue?

If others wouldn't judge on appearance would we pick someone else?

Has any healthy relationship been healthy because of anything to do with appearance?

I really like women who are a little plump. The softness is very attractive, and a real turn on. If you are a nice person, and soft and pretty- I couldn't ask for anything more.

Chunky women are attractive in certain cultures. Usually where people don't have enough to eat. In most developed countries, I believe that's not the case.

I say this all the time. If something is bothering you, fix it.

I work out regularly. I'm frequently sore, I've worked out till I almost threw up. I've kept this consistent for over 5 years already. And I'm prepared to keep this up till the day I die.

Sexy body is genetic. I don't have those genes. I do all that just to keep average. But average is better than below average, and often, that's all you need -- average. Celebrity body is nice but to us mortals, an unnecessary luxury.

If you've put in as much effort as I have and not see results, then you can complain. If you haven't, then it was a choice to stay the way you are. Which is fine, everyone has the right to be how they want to be. But don't act like it wasn't your choice.

So why don't you do something about it?

Fat people should give other fat people a chance before complaining.

All my fat friends always bitch about how all the hot girls wont even take a second look at them while at the same time they wont take a second look at girls their size either.
