amythan Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Hi all, This makes no sense at all, at least to me ! Long story short, we had a story going on for months. He pulled away with the excuse of being too involved .. blah blah We continued to talk and he always being sweet. I got cautious as i did't want to come as pushy and I was unsure about his intentions. Last week we exchanged a couple of emails like: Me: If you invite for a coffee in two weeks we can catch up properly [he lives abroad and i am going there for business. I proposed a coffee on purpose just to keep it "friendly"] He: Of course I invite you for a coffee and much more than that if you want. I would like you to be here on my couch, your head on my lap while you are reading one of your books. I love you. Days after I confirm the days I will be there and ask him to tell me when he is free. No time mentioned just to give him the opportunity to say a coffee, lunch or whatever. He: Idiot, tell when is best for you. Give me a couple of dates if you can. I said any day is fine. Pick up one and tell me the time. NO REPLY !! WTF ? Seriously, was this necessary ? I thought we were friends but this is the most rude thing anyone put on me. Why people do this kind of things, a polite no thanks would save us lots of wasted time.
