Lakeside_runner Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 So, so far - so good. The girl I met and me went out yesterday on our third date. Had good dinner, took a walk on the pier, conversation was good as usual. I dropped her off at home, we kissed, afterwards I held her in my arms and it just felt right. She's just amazing! Now I find myself overanalyzing everything. Like: "Well, she wasn't rushing to go in but she didn't say she had a great time either, however she seemed to enjoy the evening..." and so on and so on... How do I stop this? I don't want to screw this up We're on for Friday for a bonfire picninc on the beach... should be fun, right? Champagne, caviar, cheese, fruit... How do I not screw this up?!?!?! I'm a train wrack...

Mme. Chaucer Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I second kdark. I bet she is just as tickled with you as you are with her. Let the good times roll!
Star Gazer Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Calm down, LR. Everything sounds like it's going really, really well!! She wouldn't have agreed to the sexy beach bonfire date if she wasn't really digging you. If you haven't picked a place already, I highly recommend Zuma/Pt Dume. (Although I'm not sure fires are allowed there anymore...) FWIW... I have a HORRIBLE habit of not saying "I had a great time" and the like in person, like at the end of the date. It's not that I didn't, or that I'm afraid to say it, I just get lost in the moment and expect the guy to somehow read my mind! (Hence why I send the follow up texts.) Try to relax, and enjoy yourself.

Yeah, thanks guys I have to take a more relaxed approach to this . Just be myself...
Banker Chick Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Try not to overanalyze what she did or didn't say, especially at the end of the date. I swear sometimes that's when I get the most nervous and probably say the most idiotic things. I must say it's nice to know guys think these same neurotic thoughts and stress a little too
