tb24 Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 I'm 24 and still living with my parents. Partly because I have an easy life there and partly because it's incredibly difficult for first time buyers to get on the property ladder. I need to move out. They like having me around and I feel a bit guilty about wanting to move out, I just feel like i need to. In some ways they're great. In others they frustrate me but i'm sure that's normal. How can I tell them without making it seem like they've done something wrong? I know I'm over analysing it but heh, it's a big step and they're not expecting it. I know exactly what they'll say ...that I just got out of a 3 year relationship and I may not be in the best frame of mind to move out, but that's partly why. I want space. They'll also doubt I can cope on my own. Hell, I don't know if I can but I want to try. Any advice on the best way to tell them?
