To do or not to do?

I'm a music entertainer at a high end restaurant and I met someone I'm really interested in. He's a server at the restaurant and I see him at work just once a week. He asked me out for drinks. Is it okay to date? What's the protocall? I know there can be a lot of restaurant gossip that I wouldn't want getting to my boss but I think I'm really interested in this guy! :/ there is nothing in my contract that mentions dating at work policies... help! thanks

Most Bosses and managers frown on their employees dating each other. They want a smooth working environment, not one where a relationship can divide the staff.

 

If you're keen on dating this guy, you might want to the keep relationship behind the curtains and away from prying eyes.

thanks! i agree. I'm most concerned that he would tell someone and that it would get around. i want to keep in under wraps and I'm definitely not interested in letting people know. i guess i'm just trying to decide on whether its a good idea or not! thanks!
