It went well in my opinion, we both exchanged "I had fun, lets do this again blah blah blah" The first Tuesday after our date - I texted him to ask him how his week is. Quite immediately, he replied to say it was crap, told me about some work emergency and how he was getting ill. Asked me how I was and we exchanged a few more text msgs where he asked me out for lunch that coming Sunday. 2-3 days later, he texts me to ask me how my week is going etc. Midweek, I call him to check on him cos he said he was ill. He sounded genuine and thanked me for checking in on him. On Saturday, I got a text from him asking me if I was up for drinks at that time cos' his Sunday looks bad, he has to finish some last night presentation. I said I couldn't cos' I was at another event but work was work if he had to cancel. Today he texts me to ask me how my week is and I tell him that I'm sick now but getting better. He asks me if I have someone looking after me etc implying that he could come over if I needed anything. I thanked him and said I was all set up. I'm bad at reading people. Is he interested and that our schedules were just bad? Or, is it low interest and if I don't pursue this, it'll end?
zengirl Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I'd back off, myself, to see. I think the only way to know if he'll persue is to wait for him to do so. Could be just that he got ill and it threw things off (happens) or could be that he's too busy to be high interest in anyone new or could be low interest. Or could be any number of things.
