I thought I was moving forward, does this dream mean I'm not?

Last night I had a horrible dream about my ex getting with one of my best friends. And I was so jealous I was trying to beat her up and force them not to be together. i woke up feeling so awful. I really dont want him to be with anyone else but there is nothing I can do. I thought I was moving on but now I just feel so scared he's going to be wit someone else and there is nothing I can do.

Sadly, that's part of breaking up. They eventually are going to be with someone else (hopefully not your best friend!). Don't let a bad dream ruin your recovery on this breakup. We would all love to think that our exes are going to be sad and lonely for the rest of their lives, but that's not the case. Once you are over him, you will want happiness for him. I am sorry you are feeling so hurt and lost- but I know how you feel.
