Has anyone been separated, headed to divorce, and reestablished a successful marriage

My husband and I are taking baby steps. We go to MC Friday and while he says it will be a long road and he's not going to move right back in and have a miracle recovery where we act like things never happened he says he's opening to MC and has not 'closed the door' on us. After a long talk last night he asked if he had have never moved out would I have came around to seeing my own flaws and feel the way I do about wanting to put the effort in. I had to honestly answer NO because even though these weeks have been beyond difficult they have made me realize what I have and what I don't want to lose. I know our road is still long and right now we are still separated, but I do have hope. So has anyone else been here and made a successful second go at things?

Sometimes a seperation can expose that some issues are yours and yours alone.

 

I am sure that there are other posters on here that have made it work.
