MTA111 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Me and my girlfriend broke up 3 months ago. It was my fault however we ended on good...ish terms. She then went away to uni in a city miles away, so that was pretty much the end of everything. Since then we've texted each other a few times but to be honest we don't really keep in touch. On saturday night i must have leant against my phone and called her parents house phone at 4 in the morning. Genuine mistake, unintentional. Anyway, I got a text the next day saying "Heavy night was it? x". I replied saying yes but who was it, because I no longer have her numberin my phone. She then started kicking off with me, saying that I was "messed up" and she never wants to see me again. I'm indifferent, I've got no feelings of anomosity towards her at all, but really all she is to me is a memory, nothing more, nothing less. I am however very confused as to why the unecessary meanness, as when we've previously spoken she's been fine. Can someone give me some insight as to why she would all of a sudden, 3 months later, start acting like a total d*ck. I'm really not overly bothered about it now, but I do resent the fact that I've done nothing wrong and don't really have anything bad to say about her, and she starts acting out of turn. Any thoughts? Thanks, MTA
dreamingoftigers Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Just leftover feelings and feeling slighted. you don't text your memories unless you are trying to create something new from them.
PegNosePete Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 I no longer have her numberin my phone ... i must have leant against my phone and called her parents house phone at 4 in the morning ??? Time to delete her parents number too? And get a keypad lock, it might've been your boss or the police who got called by mistake! Most likely she was pissed that you deleted her number.
